With the tragic death of 29 year old Jennifer McKenna Morbelli on February 3, 2013 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, MD, after the abortion of her 33 week gestation baby by Dr. LeRoy Carhart at his clinic Germantown Reproductive Health Services in Germantown, MD, I share both the sadness and outrage of many.
It has come to my attention that multiple official investigations are underway as a result of this tragedy and that Mrs. Morbelli is not the first woman to die as a result of the negligent care of LeRoy Carhart.
As the owner/landlord of Germantown Reproductive Health Services I urge you to close the clinic until all investigations are complete since it has now been announced by the Maryland medical examiner that she died as a result of the abortion she received*, and not all of the ongoing investigations are complete.
